! What to Do if Your Pet is Missing!


Losing your pet can be a scary event. With this said, below are a few tips that may help you in the event your four legged friend takes themselves for an unexpected walk.


  1. Call your local police department to advise them that your pet is missing. For Ogunquit residents, please call our business line of (207) 646-9362.
    1. If you live near the edges of town, it may be a good idea to alert your neighboring police department as well.

    2. When you call please have a description of your animal, the clothing (if applicable) they may be wearing, and any other pertinent information (such as whether they are friendly, skittish, are wearing a collar, frequent a nearby area, etc.
    3. If the search is prolonged, the Ogunquit Police Department may ask you to provide an image of your pet to be placed on our Facebook page.
