What is PAYT?

A program in which users of the Transfer Station pay to throw out each bag of household waste.

Why PAYT ?

Decreases trash, increases recycling.

Only pay for what you use, similar to how you pay for utilities.

 Where do I get the bags and how much do they cost?

Bags are available at the Transfer Station, Town Office, and Hannaford in Wells.

Bags must be purchased in groups of five:

15-gallon bags: 5 for $9.00

33-gallon bags: 5 for $13.00
